Photoshop pc - mobo and ram needed

19_blackie_73

soooooo basically, I need a mobo and ram for as little money as possible, it will be paired with an i5 8500.

Only requirements

- 8GB of RAM (for the first part, will be upgraded later down the line)

- internal USB 3.0

- preferably 6 Sata Ports and M.2 Slot

- HDMI or DisplayPort

I can find dual channel 8GB, 2400MHz kits for around 20€ less than higher speed kits. Does it affect much the performance on Intel?

Note: also running iGPU for the first stage of this build, but as it only use case is occasional web browsing and Photoshop usage, will be fine.

Everything will find its place in a silent base 600 if that helps.

EDIT: location is germany, will be ordering from mindfactory.de as it is for most of the components the cheapest place.

What is your budget? at least give people ball park number. More people will help if you provide some number.

there are a lot of choices for that: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#s=30&c=129,131,130,128&K=6,12&E=1,4&sort=price&N=4,16

issue, if populating all SATA posts with drives and m.2, usual scenario is that 2 SATA ports become disabled.

RAM speed supported by that platform is 2666, seeing that overclocking is out of the picture, i'd sponsor the theory of using the 2666 over the 2400 (some boards support RAM OC, but not all).

value boards will support more HDMI vs DP as the licensing fee tears the 'value' idea.

Looking for advice for experience with the brands and their products.

b360 seems to be a respectable choice from the sellers website reviews.
