Is my CPU bottlenecking my GTX 1080

I have a i7-3930k with 16gb of ram is this cpu bottle necking me? i was thinking of getting the AMD 2600 or 2700x

In that case you are being Bottlenecked but a Ryzen won't change that too much. If you either you spend the money on a 4k or 1440p display (which I'd do) or you get a new Intel because they'll still be king for 1080p.

not gonna lie im choosing Ryzen because i stream and doe some video editing and Amd is way better

If you choose ryzen, make sure to get a great cipset in your motherboard. Is it ITX, micro atx, atx or what? I always recommend asus gaming...

i have my intel build on ebay with mothboard and ram and cpu on ebay fore $400 and it has 2 watchers
