It is pretty good, I use it, but as I sadly discovered later, the RM550x is a well-worth upgrade.

Unless quiet operation or hold-up time is important to you, the Corsair TXM is a great PSU.

Long hold up is recommended for dirty power grids. It can compensate for power fluctuations or momentary voltage drops.

12ms @ 100% load is still better than many PSU's in that price range.

The Seasonic Focus 550 for ~$140 has much higher hold up.
