I'm not sure where I can be clearer? All I said is the R5 2600 will not hold back the 1070ti at 1080p or higher.

Ok I just don’t understand how it could hold it back at lower resolutions (not that I want to play at them)

At a lower res, the GPU has an easier time of it so often the CPU is the bottleneck. At higher resolutions the GPU has a harder time, evening things out.

nope, the opposite's true. As resolution goes up, the number of pixels needed to render goes up, increasing GPU load. However to the CPU, the calculated area is still the same regardless of rendered resolution, so CPU load doesnt change.

So In theory if I was to put it at like the lowest possible resolution. Let’s say 1 x 1 res, I wouldn’t get 10 billion FPS I would instead get like 300 because my cpu wouldn’t be able to handle more? ???
