That depends on the mobo. Visit your mobo's manufacturer's website and look there.

The lower you go, the cheaper you go.  If you're on a budget you're better off buying older generation hardware used.

z370 with a celeron is like AR15 with rubber bullet.

Is there even a proper way to answer this question. "Decent cheap" . That doesnt exist with intel processors.

I will just make a guess for what you mean and say :i3 8100 or something.

I am here to learn, please correct me if im wrong or you see me putting bs on your screen!
