Not really. I play at 3440x1440 and I use 4.5GB VRAM. 3GB will be PLENTY for 1080p.

it does not scale like this.

3Gb might be fine but head be better of with 4gb version

I had 780 Ti in SLI, 1080 Ti in SLI and 2080 Ti in SLI. How do you know? I had these cards, and I know how they run.

Can you tell me more low profile cards or those cards which only need two 6 pin or less which is better in performance then 550?

Current titles like bf5 takes more than 3,5GB and goes above 4GB at certain times. Multiple titles do the same.......

Maybe at 3440x1440 not 1080P....

I said you just get an adapter for £5, and you'll get another 8 pin.

780ti is not available although 780 is avail founder edition from evga for 120$

Also check comparison benchmarks over time and compare them to different cards.

At 1080p specifically. Multiple titles go past 4GB and 4GB is a minimum

I wouldn't get 780, 780 Ti is the minimum.

 

But if that's "not good" then you have to aim much lower. Probably 1050 Ti used.

go with a RX 560 or 570!

 

560 needs no power connector

570 needs one ;) 

and they have enough ram 

 

780 / 780ti / 290 /290x

ALL consume to much power, have to less VRAM and need more than one power connector.

Simple as that!

Hd 7950 perhaps. Cards appear to be inflated. You will have to lower setting a bit but its a good card. Hd 7850 should be below 100$

I never want people to waste money..... Heck i do budget build for people for that specific reason. Its also why i looked into budget cards
