I have direct x 12 but pc shows direct x 11 only in games

Games have to be built with a DX12 render option. It doesn't automagically apply to every game.

Provide more information. What is your pc setup and specify which games.

Games like  path of exile gta v ac origins forza 3 they all show dx 11

GTA V and path of exile  does not support DX12. What gpu do you have?

I know at least GTA V doesn't support DX12. Otherwise you also need a DX12 compatible card as well which is either GeForce 900 or later or a Radeon HD 7000 series or later

Like others are saying.  Not all games use DX12.
