discussion about upgrade? (Monitor, CPU, gpu, motherboard,)

Hello linus community!

I am rather new and My 1.language Is not english so sorry about the mistakes :)

My build right Now is :

Cpu: r7 1700

Cooler: be quiet dark rock pro 4

Motherboard: MSI x370 gaming pro carbon

Gpu: MSI 1080 Armor oc

Ram: G.skill trident 2x8 3200hz

Case: be quiet 600 pure base window

Psu:be quiet straight power 11 750w gold

Hdd:ironwolf 2tb

Ssd: Samsung 850 evo250 + m.2 wd black 250 GB pcie

Monitor: a benq 1080p 60hz ips

As you can see i love these 2 brand and i would like to stick to Them if its possible

But if its really worth it i consider to change to an another

And 1 more thing i dont like the RGB ?

A little is not a problem but i dont want a shiny metal box with rainbow color next to me ?

1. Question: i want a New monitor!

But. Literally i CANT choose btw 1440p 144hz or 4k 60hz

I mainly play on rpg and similar

so my target is not cs:go or competitive fps (altho i play a little pubg)

Both(Monitor) are a same price range (at least in here at hungary (middle EU))

I mean with the gsync 27" ips (i' not fan of the TN cause i hate the colors on that panel)

1.2 gsync or not

With nvidia gpu a gsync monitor is worth it? I mean here are like 840 american dollar wich is a ripoff in My opinion ( Acer Predator x271hu and the same for the 4k 60hz)

On the other hand an Acer nitro vg270up

Is like 455$ ( yes i know it is a free sync monitor but dont stone me ?

That monitor is like a black hole, barely any information but is a very nice price for that class

What i Did find is an ips with 8bit color range

no problem with the panel or something similar

Maybe the stand is shaky they said but with a vesa mount (y)

In some benq monitor Maybe i really CANT decide......

Tell me your opinion.

2. Problem! (Maybe)

With My CURRENT rig i can play with more Than 100fps at 1440p (so if i go with the non gsync monitor it will not matter)  with the games (current) or almost at fix 60 in 4k (wich is more demanding so a gsync is a must i think? )

Or should i need a little upgrade to it?

My plan is to overclock the 1700 to stable 3.9 thats why i bought a dark rock pro 4

AND IF NOT

What would be a worth upgrade?

I mean a 2700x is not that far from a 3.9 1700

A 2080 is worth it? (2080ti is out of question cause of the unreal price but if i sell the 1080

A 2080 is not that far from my budget)

AND if i buy 2080 wich monitor should i buy (again ?

I know i am rather complicated! Sorry! about that

i Just want a nice future proof build for the time being

I try to answer everythin if possible

Very thankful for your helps

Have a good day ?

Get a decent 1440p 144hz monitor.

Also purchase a used/new gtx 1080ti as u can get them as cheap as $400-500 in the used market.

The 2080 is effectivly a 1080ti, so grab which ever is cheapest if your going to upgrade.

A normal 1080 non Ti isnt the best match for a 4k display tbh. So i would say if ur not going to upgrade ur GPU, get a 1440p display.

A 1080ti is absolutely not a problem but a gsync worth the Plus money?
