What is the difference between the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 and the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite

Hi, I am building a pc n will be using either 1 of these gtx 1080 ti's in it. Pls tell me the differnece and if it possible , which is better thanks

the elite is higher clocked out of the factory. not a big difference tho. both are great cards

Elite has dual BIOS, though not really useful when the stock power limit is already that high

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

depends on whether you use the BIOS switch at all.

Do u also think that the rog poseideon platinum is worth it over the evga gtx 1080 ti??

If you build a custom watercooling loop, then yes. Otherwise, no.

The Elite's main features are 12GHZ GDDR5X and dual bios.

They regular 1080ti FTW3 also has a switch and two bios.
