Not sure how much you can push this limit, it's just over 30% more power than the slot spec.

Depends on whether or not the GPU requires PCIe power connectors. If it does, you can probably just use molex to PCIe or SATA to PCIe. Granted you don't exceed the PSU

You're looking at total power consumption; the 50w is what the mobo PCIe slot can supply. In total the 1050 ti only draws around 40w from the slot in that review so it should be ok

Then this thread makes no sense personally speaking, sure the CPU and Memory might accommodate the 1050 Ti, your gaming performance increases won't be truly meaningful though and you are definitely right at the edge of what's possible and what isn't.

 

I personally would not try a 1050 Ti with this power supplying configuration, just because it might work at first glance it doesn't mean it's not likely to go bad sooner than later.

I'm not sure what you mean wrong it literally says it in the image that the combined mainboard power draw doesn't exceed 40w

You do realize that this card being tested is with a 6 pin connector offsetting these results.  In this Users case, who cant get a card like this, it needs a 75w slot.

Oh I wasn't sure what you were saying and I remembered incorrectly that all 1050 tis have a 6 pin for whatever reason. If OP gets one with a 6 pin tho it should be ok

You are correct in saying that the 240w PSU will handle it, if he could daisychain a 6 pin off that proprietary PSU - but the problem comes in the Small Form Factor Case - I am not aware of any 1050 ti's with a 6 pin for a SFF.  Im looking now to see if I can find one

I could just have psu hanging out and i could knock the braket off the case so it will fit

In my head I was like...you could riser it, and make a bracket and daisychain - but then even I, who Frankenstein sheeeeet all the time - was like, nope just get a better Mobo, case and PSU and you have an actual computer to use...rather than Frankenstein into retardation.  But that's just me.
