High end gaming monitor recommendation?

I was looking for some 1440p 27 size monitors to get. Here is a list I thought were good. , Acer xb271hu, Aoc AG271QG, , viewsonic XG2 703 GS... If you guys have other recommendations please answer me! . I like ips panels because I heard they have the best colors but even ways if anyone can give me other recommendations please answer or give ur experience with what monitor that is 1440p you had. Thanks and have a great day.

my budget is 700 - 800 euros

Side by side, you'l notice differences,  But like TVs... when you're using it by itself at home, you most likely won't notice.

 

If you don't notice your TV being worse than others...

 

That said, at least SEE an IPS panel in person before you buy one.  It's not hard, I heard there are buildings that have products in them somewhere near you.

 

I've seen the AOC in person, while I was shopping for mine.  Really nice monitor.

AOC first, Acer, then Asus.

 

But as was said above, 1440p UW or nothing. As in buy an UltraWide or do not game on a PC.  Ever. Period.

What specs do you have? If your computer can't run 1440p in games then there is no point in getting a 1440p monitor

i have one 4770k in 4.5  overclock and one  1070  vga card..

Okay, that should be able to run 1440p at medium settings at around 70-80fps in games like GTA V.

I was Planning to get Acer xb271hu.. but then I heard If you are planning to do a Dual monitor or Triple monitor Setup.. this one has a Small Bump at the bottom bezel so Currently I am Thinking about "ASUS ROG PG279Q" - 144p - 144Hz to 165Hz - IPS Panel for a 16:9 monitor. Going to pair it with a 2080ti.

I best if I put a TN, VA or IPS panel in front of people they'd be hard pressed to pick them out.  They can all be tweaked to be fantastic or shitty.

 

Just like audio, a monitor depends on your eyes and what you're watching vs technical specs.

 

IPS isn't better, it has it's benefits yes.

There is a Difference between a TN Panel and IPS Panel.. you can Spot them out easy if you place them side by side.. Even my dumb sister felt the TN panel monitor was something different from my other monitor.

Cards can barely push 4k.  

 

Besides, UW isn't about 1440p vs 4k... it's about the experience and immersion that some want.  Not for everyone.  But it should be

Exactly, to my point about TVs.  When you are at Best Buy, you can see the difference when they're side by side.  When there is a monitor on your desk by itself and you have someone sit down and ask them what panel it is... how many can get it right?

 

The point is, take a monitor home, play with the settings to how YOU like to see things... enjoy.  Just like audio, why do you think there are bass/treble settings and equalizers?

It's a good monitor, they all are good.
