Help me choose my new phone!

My fiancee's phone is on it's last legs which gives me the perfect excuse to upgrade my phone, she's not into tech so as long as it works she's happy.

My current phone is a Sony XA1 Ultra and it's not a bad phone at all for the price.

What I want is a large phone, big handed ape here. I'd like something with an audio jack and a great camera. It must have a micro SD card slot

I don't do any mobile gaming so I know I'm not really interested in the Razer or ROG phones.

The only thing is I really don't like Apple products!

I have a budget of £1000 (1,279.97 USD) (1,679.65 CAD) but any savings here would be appreciated.

What do you guys and girls recommend?

You pretty much described the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

The price of the note 9 is eye watering though and I don't trust ebay and getting a korean spec note 9, in case of warranty or insurance issues.
