Randomly loses output signal.

D3ad_K1d

Hi Guys.

When it happen my screen goes into standby, everything in the PC stays powered on, I get no debug codes on my motherboard and no other display outputs work. After holding the power button down and turning it off, it then comes back on fine.

This is a strange one. It has been happening for quite some time now but i cant figure out what the problem is. Some times it will do this when i am sat idle on the desktop other times it will do it when gaming, I can go a few days without it happening but then it can happen 2 to 3 times in the space of a day.

Things I have tried already.

Updated the BIOS a few times and I am on the latest virsion

Updated all my drivers

Tried other display ports and another monitor

System

Intel Core I5-7600K 3.80GHZ

MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Motherboard

HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) 2400MHz DDR4

8G MSI RX470 GAMING X GPU

Samsung 250GB 960 Evo M.2 SSD

Windows 10 Pro

It seems to be quite common problem.

Some problem have been solved by drivers which obliviously didn't work for you.So in your case it is card itself or PSU.Try to under volt in wattman.
