Are my cpu temps to high?! i5 8600k

Azileo

Recently built a new gaming rig and the fans were driving me insane how load they were so I went it to the bios and tweeked them a little, The pump and cpu were set at pwm and that would just make my fans go to max witch i did not like so i changed them to dc including my fans made a nice fan curve and everything is now nice and quite I do not mind my cpu being a little hotter then usual i just wanna make sure i dont damage anything im not overclocking my cpu btw.

Does this look okay? should i be worried

looks good

run stress test for ~15 minutes to an hour because it's a liquid cooler and not a air cooler. It takes time for the water to heat up and to stabilize at some temperature above what it'll sit at when idle

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

I'm not sure what an 8600k should run at, but TJ Max is 100C - so, in short if 75C is the highest they're getting under Prime95, it's okay.

Just played 10 mins of bf1 on ultra settings and i seemed to be getting max 61c - 64c is that okay? Like im not going for really cool low cpu temps i just want my pc to be quite while my pc is good.

that's good

don't worry until it hits like 85ish or higher, that's when it gets a bit scary

Like @themctipers said, I've never really been concerned until 85+  and if you've run Prime95 for 15mins and it hasn't gotten up that high, you most likely will never see it get that high, the load Prime95 puts on it is unrealistic compared to daily use.
