300-500$ Best router at the moment?

Ok so i'm tempted to try the synology rt2600ac with their new mesh mr2200ac.

Seems like it would fit my deals, price and simple configuration.

I was just wondering if the mr22ac will work using the wifi from the rt2600ac or i will have to run a cable between them?

While it won't be the same level as a corporate router, it should outperform most consumer routers on the market (even expensive ones) that don't go beyond 1200Mbts (300Mbts on 2.4Ghz N, and 866Mbts on 5Ghz N and AC).

Especially since it's price is only ~$40-60.

I might be able to do this but i really dont want to mess around with that, free time is hard to find most days

Not familiar with Synology's mesh products. As I only got the router. BUT mesh generally means that it can connect the router wireless. I would assume that Synology has info on their site about configs you can run with their mesh products.
