I would wait if possible for Black Friday.

Black Friday isn't a holiday (or sales event) in Australia. Neither is thanksgiving.

Is there a way i can do it myself? I really don't feel like trying to contact the manafacturer and possibly waiting forever for a response

Nah. its fine now. my friend said he'll pay slightly more and let me get the better CPU
