I can't be sure if these are legit but if they're mining cards they will most certainly have a shorter lifespan since they would have been used too much already.

I was curious about this so I've been looking into how good mining cards are, turns out they're fine so I used one in a gaming PC, seems perfectly ok.

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

As long as they aren't crammed together in the mining rig they'll be fine.  Can you get a picture of them setup in the rig?

 With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Luck of the draw....no warranties with most of the used ones....have run 24/7 for who knows how long.  Its worth the extra dough if you can assemble it to buy new and get a 2-3 year warranty.   Peace of mind.

Ask how old the cards are (try to get a receipt). If the EVGA cards are under 1 year, you can RMA them for free if they have any issues

They are fine as long as it was reasonably cooled. They look like they have adequate spacing and usually cards are undervolted so the only thing that would be sketchy is the VRMs if they got too hot. Otherwise there is no difference between a gaming card and mining card

People have made videos about whether or not you should get mining cards. I sold 12 of my 1070ti's and I can tell you that they're in good shape, probably in better shape than a lot of the gamer cards. They always ran at 75% tdp, never over 60 degrees celcius, they have no dust bunnies because they were dusted regularly, and they work flawlessly. That's not to say all miner cards are good. Some probably increased the power limit, overclocked them and ran them super hot for months. Those cards are probably fine but they're more of a gamble. And in all cases you're gambling if you don't have manufacturer warranty.

I made a thread yesterday about 1070 mining cards and it got a lot of traction with some great info. Give it a check:

TL:DR: If you can test them and trust the seller hasn't abused the cards, take the leap.

Don’t see how anyone can say the lifespan will be reduced with no proof. Only an unsound theroey that doesn’t always apply with a million variables. 

 

Wouldnt buy such a weak card myself. Would rather get a 1080 for ~300 if I were to get a mined/used card.
