How to bypass Fortinet website blockers?

Hey all - at my school we have a Fortinet system installed. I've only ever bypassed this once, and gotten in trouble for it. I used TOR with bridges (I think I used either obfs4 or meek-azure).

 

Most VPN's are blocked, does anyone have an idea of what will bypass this? Protocol names and perhaps a VPN suggestion will help a bunch.

use tcpvpn(port 443) with openvpn, they can't block it because it uses the same port as normal internet traffic, I do it at my school, just don't tell them.

^^^ proxy or vpn over port 443, unless they are packet snooping for incorrect protocols

It depends, if the school is running SSL decryption, they will see the traffic and block it.

but yeah, port 443 and ssl might obfuscate what you are doing so they can't see it.

 

However, the firewall might alert on the traffic due to domain or ip reputation as well.
