Hey I need a little help troubleshooting

C.j

My computer is acting funny and I just need some help. When I turn it on it will stay on for about and hour and then turn of. Then when I try to turn it back on i have to hit the power button 4 or 5 time before it turns back on. I think it it is hard drive failure but what do you think?

Generally when a PC powers itself off, it's a thermal issue.  Is it Intel or AMD based?  There are apps to monitor your temperatures.

Most likely you probably just need some new thermal paste and a good cleaning of the heatsinks / fans.

Could also be a power supply issue.  If you check your temps and they're within spec, that's the next likely candidate.

+for thermals, my pc did the same thing when my AIO failed me, check the thermals on your CPU, what specs do you have too? and are you playing videogames when it shuts off?
