First Pc for Gaming

I guess the motherboard could handle it, but you'd need a faster CPU and GPU

Despite the fact that the motherboard has nothing to do with the refresh rate, I'd go so far as to say the motherboard couldn't handle 144Hz simply because it only supports old and slow CPUs.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

im a pc player. no console. My budget would be 500$ for now, and a new monitor to. the current one i have is a 1600x900. When i play a game it has huge screen tearing.

New monitor included in the budget correct? I'd probably go with something like this

And then reuse your HDD.

Once you get an extra $100-$150 you could get a GPU but for now iGPU would be fine.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Graphics Card

For the games you're playing on 1080p low, you don't necessarily need one at first. Your budget is what constrains you. You could save up a little more and get one in one of the suggested builds or the beauty of PC building is that you could get the graphics card later on when you have more money.

right now im just tired of playing fortnite looking all pixelated and also playing on a 1600x900 with insane screen tearing. i just wanna play fortnite on max settings with no shadows with 60fps constant.

The 2400g will do Fortnite on 720p at 60fps. You can upgrade later. You can either save up a little more and get a graphics card or just get one later and play Fortnite faster... You don't even need to put Fortnite on epic settings because the whole thing looks cartoony to begin with. High detail doesn't make sense.
