What cable do i need for 144hz

Hey guys i was just wondering what cable i need for 144hz as i just got my new monitor but it didnt come with a cord included like it was meant to. My graphics card doesn't support display port so if there are any other optiuons it would be great to know and also it would also be great if you could send me links where i could find these cords

What graphics card do you have that doesn't support Display Port? What display outputs does it have? Does it have Mini-DP? HDMI?
Which monitor is it?

it is an acer  GN246HL and no it doesnt have mini display port and the hdmi port is being used for the playstation

i think what im asking is what kind of dvi cable do i need

DVI is the most easy to find

Should be DVI-D (dual link) not the DVI-I (single link) for you to achieve 144hz

144 at 1080p is only over display port but 120 at 1080p is supported on HDMI and DisplayPort

Use HDMI to connect the PC to the monitor. Either share the HDMI port on the monitor (unplug the PC cable and plug in the Playstation cable, and vice verse) or get a HDMI to DVI cable for the Playstation and use the DVI port on the monitor for the playstation.

You must use a Dual-Link DVI cable.

 

The GN246HL does not have DisplayPort, and the HDMI port is limited to 60 Hz at 1080p. There are no adapters possible except a DisplayPort to DL-DVI active adapter, which is about $100.
