Am I missing something? Weed is legal in Canada now but these guys have had these prices for alot longer. $2000 for a 1080, NOT TI, a 1080!

I messaged these people basically asking if the pricing was a mistake and that the average price of other 1080 ti was between $800(if you catch a sale)-$1200, this was their responce:

From: Ecotest Canada   10:01 10/17

Your prices are for used cards after mining. Our card is brand new, sealed and unopened. If there is a lower price for the new card, please, let us know.

Is that a GTX 660 for only $2,631? I might have to pick one up... https://www.amazon.ca/Asus-GTX660-DC2O-2GD5-ASUS-Graphic-Cards/dp/B0098VKIRC/ref=sr_1_23/134-3001623-3502612?m=A112QNIVMCOH2&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1539914218&sr=1-23

In all seriousness, just send them a link of the same card being the actual price, which you can use PCPP to find. Brings back memories of the mining days.

The fact that they mentioned "unused in mining" made me think they had the idea that the mining craze prices were still relevant.

This was my response:

Ummm no. The average price for almost every 1080 ti  is $800-$1200 NEW.

THIS is the price for a used "mining card": https://www.ebay.com/p/ASUS-Rog-Poseidon-GeForce-GTX-1080-TI-11gb-Platinum-Edition-DP-HDMI-DVI-Gaming/13006020176

I could easily buy an Asus 1080 ti Turbo for $950, maybe even the Strix version for $1150, slap a good EK waterblock on it for about $200, total $1150-$1350, all new. Yet you're trying to say that your obviously jacked up price is fair, and not even bothering to counter offer with a lower price? (((I said a bad word here so filtered))).

So you know, I would have been willing to go up to $1300, well more than it's worth, have a nice life.

Only problem is that I can't find this card anywhere else. I was thinking of making a build in the Phanteks Shift X, but it has really bad airflow, so my only option is to watercool. I'd only be able to fit 2x120 So a card like the poseidon would be perfect, as it acts like a radiator.
