Best 1080 ti card?

Masters2150
 Share

Between all the brands is there a definitive "best card"? Or is it just, this one has great temps but is louder, or this one is quieter but higher temps? Or does it even matter all that much?

It's pretty much all looks, noise and temperatures, but also support/warranty from different brands.

The clock differences and therefore performance differences are usually negligible.

EVGA's FTW2, ASUS STRIX, MSI Gaming X. Those seem to be the top 3, EVGA and ASUS are about equal and the Gaming X is just barely below them. EVGA does have the Kingpin if you need absolutely nuts overclocking capabilities or just want the best possible GPU.

I'd personally go for the EVGA, I have/had 2 1080s, a 980 Ti, 2 1050s, and a 1050 Ti, and they're all amazing cards, look great, and perform with 0 problems whatsoever. Not to mention EVGA support is awesome if they do derp out sometime in the future.

Doesn't really matter all that much, due to your case and fans and flow being different than the open test benches most reviewers us and settings and other components.

Look at the top one from each manufacturer and then compare cooling, is my recommendation.  Better cooling = better card IMO.

If I could get my hands on a Kingpin I would.

the one that works and is within your budget

🌲🌲🌲

Judge the product by its own merits, not by the Company that created it.
