[HELP] New BenQ XL2546 Dead Pixel (Purchased 3 Days Ago)

ajgamer1

Hello, I have purchased BenQ XL2546 from Amazon 3 days ago and I did some Pixel Tests. I found a Dead Pixel on the Monitor.

Please help me with the troubleshooting, fixed and any other tests which are to be done to check if something else is wrong with the monitor or not?

I am attaching the Photo below:

Thanks.

Well, I am not knowledgeable in this. But I'm not sure if it's a stuck pixel or a dead pixel.

It's Green in Color on Black Background, I can see on every color except for the Green Background.

honestly not worth having issues over. if there is a problem with the pixel its somewhat likely that it will become a problem again. so just return it

If it doesn't dissappear after turning the display on/off and/or using a different source then rma it. Amazon has pretty dope support so it won't be a problem  at all.

I have a dead pixel that is invisible on white backgrounds and green on everything else. I tried methods that fix stuck pixels and this one is definitely dead.

So it is possible to have a dead pixel like this.

What kind of methods did you try?

Thanks.

I believe Linus has a video on stuck and dead pixels. You can play a video that goes through the different colour on that part of the screen, tap it with an eraser and things like that. The video goes into more detail and associated risks.

If you have any sort of out of box issues, return it immediately. New and working is better than not new and fixed. My monitor is an acer and I had a stuck pixel for a day and it fixed itself, but it is the second one I’ve had because the first had a dead pixel.
