Antegros mutes left speaker on boot

This intermittent (5-10%) issue has me stumped.

On boot, the left speaker is muted

- Antegros Cinnamon

- ALSA(Pulse Audio) on a Asus Xonar STX using the Virtuoso module

Any ideas?

Edit: Installed PulseAudio Volume Controls and have disabled all other output devices. - Didn't work? Cinnamon Sound still keeps the devices active

Update(18/10): Bug is specific to Arch Cinnamon

Intel 12400F | 2x8 3000Mhz Corsair LPX | ASRock H570M-ITX  | Noctua DH-N14 | Corsair MP50 480GB | Meshilicious | Corsair SF600Fedora

Thanks let me know if I said something useful. Cheers!

You mean the left speaker is muted?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

So if you use, say, gnome it doesn't happen? In that case it must be a bug with cinnamon's volume control utility...

does muting and unmuting the sound make the right speaker work again? if not, have you been able to make it work in any other way than rebooting?

So far using Bungie(3 reboots), I have no problems.

I can easily change it once the problem arises.  It is just a nuisance.

If muting and unmuting solves the problem you could make it so that antergos does that at every boot.
