Hope he's keeping his nose clean.

Mansion is not really descriptive, but I will assume its 10k+ sqft in a low tax state

It's hardly a mansion. It's an apartment in Brighton. I don't think he has any fancy car either, but I may be wrong.

Probably about 10M per year. He disclosed something like 4M a few years ago, I'd wager he makes at least twice as much now.

Interesting.

Does he slap a lot of ads in his video's or is pewie just doing silly faces and such? like Linus

WTF is he doing in Brighton England? I have been there, its not that great. Just close to London. Maybe thats just where he films his shinanigans. I hope he's got a tax specialist working for him! That would be the first person I would hire, then hire an independent second to double check first.

Move to a nice place to setup main residency.

It's a large Indian production company. If you've ever watched a Bollywood film, then chances are that you've seen some of their work.

Still a nope then.

I'm not sure, I've never watched a full video of his and the bits I've seen were quite a while ago. He probably has sponsorhips and brand deals though. He also streams on twitch if I'm not mistaken, so there's also the subscription and donation money from there - and when your audience is in the tens of millions, those add up very quickly.

How much money is pewie making?

Enough to get himself a Lamborghini and Bugatti. One thing I like PewdiePie is he is not flexing on his money. He also has to paid federal taxes as well which is going to be A LOT.

Not all 10 millions people will watch his twitch video, and not all 10 millions people will donate money.

That is quite the show pewie is putting on, I'd say he is flexing his money. Also, without an open tax record straight from the government, no one can say for sure. If he was smart, he'd be milking the system for loop holes, he has probably been audited already.

Can you give me the source that he is flexing on his money?

I don’t know about his personal life, but I notice he never flaunts his wealth in his videos. His content is okay. Not really the sort you would expect to get you anywhere near the number of subscribers that he has, and I don’t watch all his content, but he seems like a cool guy overall.

72 million subs now, but the gap with T-series has also never been closer.

Yeah but obviously in his day to day life he does. Them Bugatti's are expensive even for a simple oil change. Only live one life. I can see why he doesn't show his wealth on YT, it goes to my angle of he wouldnt get more viewers, probably less viewers. Makes sense. Same argument I make with Linus not showing wealth on video.

A lot of YouTubers live in Brighton now. Jacksepticeye is the only one I know of but I'm sure there's more.

It's because it's close to London and it's cheap to live in compared to London.

I've been to London and it's always a lot more expensive than anywhere else in the UK, so I can see why he's in Brighton.

Plus the ocean, the key factor in the decision to live in Brighton, no doubt about that. But its a rocky beach from what I remember, not soft sandy beaches.

Brighton is the best place for him to be. He's from Gothenburg. Gothenburg is a coastal city so I could see why he would rather live by the sea than in a big city. It's close to London and it's by the sea. Win win for him.

Anyway, back onto the main subject.

70 million people. And it only takes a fraction of them paying 5$ per month (the subscription fee) to reach a yearly income in the millions.

" THEY COULD both be accurate" So it is like 50/50 shot which I would take it as a grain of salt, and I would not put a lot of hope onto it. Things can change very quickly.

You can make whatever estimation you want, but if it doesn't come from Pewdiepie than it is not 100% accurate in which I would not buy it.

You can "buy" whatever you want, but if this is your approach to estimates then you shouldn't believe your GPS either - according to your logic, you might be on the other side of the planet, after all it's just an estimate of your position.

Just because we don't know something with complete certainty doesn't mean we can't think about it and base our reasoning on estimates. An estimate isn't a dice roll, it's an educated guess.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
