T-Series bot? ?

I don't know who T series is. I don't subscribe to any of these two. I sub to H20 Delirious, Vannos Gaming, and other small Youtubers. IMO, Pewdiepie is overrated.

I believe so. Over 69 million subs, but less than 10 mil views on each video.

That's just how YouTube subs are. His sub to view count is not that much different from let's say LTT who has 7.3 million subs and gets something like 800k views on average (varies a lot).

A lot of people tend to like a video they are watching and just sub to the youtuber. Then they see another and another and another and suddenly their subscription box is 100+. I see this all the time which leads to lost videos because just the way people watch, time they have to watch, current interest, etc...and then tack on that people never unsub from channels they dont watch anymore, it only goes up.

Its not bots, just human behavior and youtube algorithm.

Subs are more or less like gym memberships. Once you get past the initial hype of the channel you subscribed to, you visit maybe once in few weeks/months. For instance, I'm subscribed to Paul and Kyle and I watch maybe 20-30% of their content (the ones I watch I really like though).

As a side note, why is this thread not in Off Topic? Ignoring the fact that it's literally a shrine to PWDP, he is so loosely connected to tech that updating it every time he hits another 1mil seems weird to me.

And now at 71 million. Though this may be as far as he gets. The gap has now closed to less than 200k subscribers. Still, was a good run either way.

Apparently this is still a thing...

Someone has accessed a bunch of printers and printed off messages instructing people to subscribe to PewDiePie and unsubscribe from T series. Can't imagine that to be a successful way of generating subscriber numbers.

It's a large Indian production company. If you've ever watched a Bollywood film, then chances are that you've seen some of their work.

I doubt pewdiepie actually cares about his sub count ( at least compared to other youtubers ). It seems more likely like this whole thing is a joke to him.

Hope he's keeping his nose clean.

Mansion is not really descriptive, but I will assume its 10k+ sqft in a low tax state

Probably about 10M per year. He disclosed something like 4M a few years ago, I'd wager he makes at least twice as much now.

Why would he care? He's held the record for years and makes a lot of money playing videogames. Being overtaken at this point is of absolutely no consequence to him, it may sting a little but I'm sure he can get over it.
