PS4 Pro on 1440p monitor

So i ordered the PS4 PRO RDR2 Bundle because i am not waiting for that junk to come to PC lol. So the question i wanna ask is, can i hook up my PS4 Pro to my 1440p monitor and how will it work?

I was thinking of hooking it up in the living room on my parents 4K HDR TV but that would mean i would only be able to play when they are asleep / not home, so that would not be my first choice.

Yeah, worked fine with my 27" Samsung S27D850T.

Though only as a 1080p screen.

Hopefully, at least Cyberpunk77 will come straight to PC on release.
