Beep! -Says my hard drive.

I am wondering why my WD Black 2.5inch hard driv makes a loud beep when shutting down or put Windows7 to sleep mode(using it in a desktop, I know a 3.5 would be better in many ways but I got that 500GB drive new for just 20-30USD).

It is likely due to Hard Drive detected low power. Should I be concerned with my drive's longevity and data integrity? And if I should fix it, how??

(I am running a EVGA 600W power supply to feed a ssd, that hard drive, a Q9550 and a GTX 570, power wise should be more than enough. I suspect the windows cuts power before the HD wanna go to bed but I am unaware anyway to delay windows/motherboard cutting power to the drives...)

Beeping caused by bad hard drive motor or spindle.

Yeah as far as i know hardrives dont have speakers, so check if either the motherboard speaker is making a beep, or if you are 100% that it is your hdd backup all your data, run some disk utilities and probably rma.

I only see your reply if you @ me.
