What sized screws are used for installing motherboards?

I've lost some screws (the ones that attach the motherboard to the standoffs). So it looks like I'm going to need to buy some more as I'm currently upgrading to a Ryzen 2700X from an i7 6700k. Meaning a new motherboards due. I need to know the size of the screws used to screw the motherboard to the standoffs so I can buy some more.

Ask in shop where you want to buy new processor and motherboard. They for sure give you some screws for free since you spending some money buying new hardware.

I already ordered everything unfortunately.

The motherboard usually comes with that stuff, no?

 

Edit: actually I’m not sure, they might have come with the case

do i need to put screws on all hole of the motherboard?

that would be ideal, but you can get by without all of them

Well for me  they came with the case, which seems rights as it looks like various cases use different sized screws.
