I’m going to upgrade my computer with gtx 1080 and z370 motherboard and I’m playing 1080p, what cpu do I need for streaming 1080p 60fps  with no lag and keep the same FPS for the gpu as it should be.

Should be honest and say Streaming is not all its lived up to be. Your going to have to be streaming 50+ hours a week just to get started, for over 2-3 years for even a few hundred followers, maybe a thousand. Its very saturated so you may just want to game and not stream. 8700k Is good but 2700x would be better for overall streaming without messing with TONS of settings. Also note you cannot stream to twitch at 1080p 60fps, only youtube gaming allows that and even then it will still take a fair bit of cpu and tinkering with settings to get it to be optimal.

if you want to stream... get ryzen 2700x instead. on intel , you will lose more fps by streaming compared to ryzen.

7900X is the minimum CPU if you want streaming to have zero effect fps no matter the game.

An R7 2700 would be better for streaming due to the extra cores

But there's no reason to buy a GTX 1080 for a 1080p 60hz display

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
