display 4:3 Laptop panel upgrade to 16:9 HD panel

Hey guys I'm new to the forum
also this is my first post here
actually my question here is  can i upgrade my old 4:3 1024x768 panel to a 16:9 720p or 1080p panel

my laptop is Compaq Presario V3000
Edit : (i know you guys gonna say the HxL matters also its very hard to find the panel even if one exists)

It’s not possible because the H to L ratios are different.

Upgrading screens on a relatively old consumer laptops is near too impossible.
