Best 144hz Monitor?

What's the best 144hz Monitor for Gaming under $300?

I was looking at the XG2402 but it's not available anywhere in Australia. So I'm not sure what to go for now. Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

I read that as Austria...

Still, free-sync 144hz most likely

Or for some reason 1080p 240hz displays are relatively cheap in Australia, maybe save up for those if you really really care about CS:GO?

I heard this monitor isn't nearly as good as some of its other counterparts like the older XG2401, is this true?

I couldn't tell you, I've had it for like 8 months and I love it. Great color and brightness for gaming. Also, I love the stand.

I don't really feel the need to get myself a 240hz monitor since the performance is not worth the price jump in my opinion. :)

I'd love to get a really nice 144hz though, and I heard that the xg2402 is a superb monitor but I'm worried that the older 2401 won't live up to that expectation.

Do you think it's still gonna be good?

Any of the modern free-sync 144hz displays will be fine, just double check reviews

The XG2401 is good, it's nearly the same as the XG2402 just without FreeSync-over-HDMI.

What's FreeSync-over-HDMI?
