Hi, I'm building my first computer and want a new monitor to use for work and gaming. I do work on 3D modeling, Digital Art, Unity models, Video editing for YouTube and game in VR. I'm trying to stay at around 2000. I don't know the best monitor to buy and only came across the Samsung UH750 28"

is there a better option?

There are a lot of monitors that are better but you don't really need one.

 

 

Color standards are to match print output. Usually pantone. To give you an example, some blues look blue on a standard monitor. On a color accurate monitor & pantone printer output the color will look purple. Matching pantone colors supplied by clients so print output is accurate is more important than what you see on the screen.

If you are outputting to screen it is less important since most people use cheap monitors/TVs anyway. 

 

 I used an older version of the monitor you picked. The color after calibration was close enough. The review Linus did on it introduced me to this chanel.
