Post your sources otherwise thats just bullshit. Most 8700k were 5-5.2 once delidded, i would say maybe a few golden samples get 5.5,

 

If you play games then 8700k would be the far better value choice as it is still $200 cheaper and the same performance within 2-3 fps, which is pretty much nothing when its 197 fps vs 200 fps

Intel Tends to be better performing in games then ryzen thats no question, but the value of the 9900k over the 2700x is simply not there at this current price point. Its my argument against 2080ti over 1080ti, its 15-35% performance gain with a price increase of now 2x, simply not worth the price

People say Intel is better for gaming. Yes, it's true but ... what's the point when GPU bottleneck is there ?

 

I hope you play game @1080p, for my case, i play @ 3440x1440 , so basically any CPU is fine. The price different is not justify real performance for gaming. Wait, maybe If i game @ 720p I will definitely get i9.

 

Even if Intel release 6 GHz CPU, real fps improvement is 1-2, unless Nvidia give us express ticket to faster lane 1 more time.

totally agree! you will first need a high end display, then high end gpu and then finally you may only benefit from 10-20fps in games.

All the benchmark I posted is using 1080Ti, the most high end card before RTX release. 

 

Even after RTX, things won't be different that much.

I7-9900k is only ~ 15% faster in gaming but costs 78% more than ryzen 7 2700X.

 

I can't understand how dumb you should be to buy an intel. Even intel motherboard is more expensive thats makes the difference in price even bigger or over 80%. That's just insane.

While the CPU prices themselves vary greatly, total system build needs to be taken into account.  

 

$200 at $300 to $500 is huge, $200 from $1800 to $2000 is just 10% (depending on which way you come at it).

 

Paying $3000 for Tech Package in a car is a huge addition, but if the car is $50k then to $53k...

you should look up q6600 and gtx280 launch prices too and yrs around those
