1060 MAXQ dead on Razer Blade 2016, is it possible to replace?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums but i've watched Ltt for a while. Anyway, as the title says, my blade suddenly died on me and after taking it to the tech, they have isolated the problem to the gtx 1060 being dead (picture attached) and that the motherboard seems fine. So yeah...while looking for replacements, I came across this manufacturer in china that seems to be the only one (apart from aliexpress) selling these (https://www.hklrf.com/N17E-G1-A1-GPU-NVIDIA-Graphics-Chipset_4616.html).

My questions are as follows:

  • Is this manufacturer reliable? Am I at risk of being sold a fake?
  • Is it possible the motherboard rejects the new chip?

Part numbers are exactly the same, only difference being what I assume are lot numbers and such. I'm including pictures of the damaged chip for reference, any help is greatly, greatly appreciated.

Have a great evening.

Yes, you can replace the gpu chip, with a proper bga tools.

If the part number is identical, it would be safe to buy from chinese shop, as they are the only one keeping those parts.
