The prices have changed since last night since I purchased.  The original post tax total was $1,776 (#Murica).  I do about 50/50 editing/gaming.  I mostly play racing games, WoW, League, etc.  I will add more memory next month and probably replace the rear fan with an RGB Fan.  I don't plan to OC, my current 1600x barely hits 55*C with a Gammaxx 400 and the new stock cooler is baller from what I've seen.  This will probably be my 12th PC in 7 years and 670th PC that I've built in 7 years (for others/sale items).

Decent system. If you don't plan on OCing you should be okay with what you've got, though I would have personally sprung for a bit better PSU like a Seasonic Focus Gold 550 or 650, but yours should suffice.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

Ya I thought about it it a bit, but I went ahead and took out as much cost as I could.  I ended up trimming about $250.  Considering I run the PC Budget Solutions YouTube Channel, I had to make some cuts to follow what I preach.  I might play with the GPU a bit though with undervolting/OCing.  I did that with my original Vega 64 before I sold it for huge profits xD.

Undervolting AMD GPUs is definitely worth it. When I had my old R9 390 (before it died) I was able to apply a heavy undervolt because I had a crap PSU at the time. Had maybe 60% of the power consumption and yet still retained about 85-90% of the performance compared to stock.
