X470 vs B450 PCIE x 16 slot number

Hello i have a noob question, i know that the main difference between an X470 Motherboard and a B450 one that the first support SLI but the B450 don't and my question is if it doesn't support SLI why we find in some B450 Motherboards more than one pcie x 16 slot for example the ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4

You can use the other slot for additional high-end add-in cards (like M.2 adapter cards, network controllers). End even though it doesn't support SLI, CrossfireX is possible. Apart from that you can still use Nvidia cards in compute mode, SLI is more or less just a software feature.
