Did you check the temperatures?

Take a look with AIDA64, could be bad thermal paste, considering some laptops ship with very poor quality pastes

Check event viewer, look for the cause of the latest shutdown.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Does someone else have access to your computer? My guess (seeing that it shuts down every hour - on the hour), is that some code to shut down your PC is executed by the windows event manager.

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

If you could show me where exactly that is, that would be great.

1. Open Event Viewer with Eventvwr.exe

2. Navigate to Windows Logs\System

3. Right-Click on it and select "Filter Current Log…"

4. Filter: Event log: System Event ID: 1074

Yep, used a guide online and reached that stage.

So I found the log when it crashed, and this is what I find.

image.thumb.png.8752e9d2ab035cd36b001386cb1c1645.pngI had a 90 day Enterprise Edition Trial, and it expired today.

Looks like Microsoft themselves is shutting my computer down.

Interesting.
