Could I throw in my r9 270x 4gb or HD 6870 with my R9 295x2?

I wanted to throw an extra card in JUST to handle my other monitor so that I can further optimize performance. I currently have an r9 295x2 and Ryzen 7 1700x running. I have an RM 850i PSU. Would I be able to add one of the cards I mentioned in the title without power issues?

that would make performance worse as the 295 can handle a secondary monitor while using less power than a whole second card using more power to do the same task

is your goal less efficiency?

you are fully aware that a secondary monitor displaying a 2d image doesn't take away performance at all correct?

if so.... then sure go for it. any other bad ideas you'd like to run by us or was that it?
