What's my next mechanical keyboard?

Hi. 

Used a Corsair K70 with brown MX for 2 years now (gaming). I want a new one but this time I will be using it for typing at my job. 

 

I have 150$ CAD = 120 USD to spend on that. 

 

What MX should I buy? I don't like blues because they make too much noise. I find the brown were okay.

Unless you're fine with typing on linear switches, brown switches are still the way to go (since you consider them ok). I like blues, but it's the fastest way to annoy people who arent into loud keyboards.

you should probably go with browns, but either way you can buy O-rings to install under the keycaps and that will also help reduce the noise your keys make when they bottom out

Bump-less switches. Pressing them is exactly like pressing on a spring.

 

The opposite is the tactile switch, including the browns. Their keys dont go down with smooth increase in force.

What do you hate about the K70?

Just take "Original Cherry MX-Board 2.0" any switch u like for only $35 or less. It's real mechanical manufactured by Cherry itself. I have one on red switch.

i really like the feel of my razer blackwidow silent edition ( theyre razer/kailh orange ) but if youve been using cherry switches youll probably want to stick with those unless you hate the keys more than just the over all keyboard
