Why did we kill the Recent Profile Visitors thing?

Why can't you see it on other people's profiles any more since the update? It was good to see who would be around to screw around in a status update

I've not been able to post status updates for like a year now, though I might just be blind. I looked everywhere (I think).

I guess random stuff stops showing up for some people.

The recent profile views thing is still there. It is an option in your profile settings whether or not it is displayed, so perhaps the person you were trying to view has it set to disabled.

Is it opt-in then? Cause I see some have it and some don't, I can see yours but not @zakman's, for example

You just go to your profile and click the "write a public message on your own feed" button

Go to your profile, edit profile, and there is a toggle for "Enable Status Updates" towards the top.
