I7 PC build. MBD advice

So here it is. Upgrading from my Dell Xps 8900.

The only thing I'm using from the dell is the i7-6700 and 16gb of ram. I will be buying the psu, gpu,Mbd, and new case. I need help on finding a good motherboard for the value but at the same time need features: USB 3/ C, m.2, etc. Looking at the z 170/270's. Also need a PSU. Looking at the corsair 750w?  I plan on using it for gaming and work. As of right now I'm not planning to overclock anything. Trying to have this build as long as I can.  Here's the planned build:

Intel Core i7-6700 Non-K
Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB FTW
Samsung 960 Evo NVMe PCIe M.2 250GB
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1TB
Micron 16ATF1G64AZ-2G1A2 2x8GB
be quiet! PURE BASE 600 WINDOW

P.S. planning on buying the parts around black friday. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

not a big fan of nvme ssd's, get a big sata one is what i would choose.

2 tb harddrives are barely more expensive.

if you can fit a 1070 ti in your budget would be my choise.

750 watts is a little much for a single card system, get a cx550

asus maximus viii ranger is 92 bucks at newegg right now, seems like a good mobo to me

that would be my advice

Why arent you re-using the mobo? Seems like a waste of a win liscence, not to mention spending extra when yiu cant even OC the CPU, not to mention on an old plattform

Edit: Btw the rx580 is cheaper and just as fast as the 1060. No need to spend extra.

A good PSU would be the 550/650 watt seasonic focus gold plus

Upgrading the mobo for more features and connections. Not a big one but it only has 1 mobo connection for the fan. Planning on having 4-5 fans for new build. I would still be using  oem CPU cooler.

As far as gpu I will definitely check it out the rx580. ??

Out of these 5 which rx580 would you recommend?

What if I can get a ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL 0-O6G Graphics Card - 6 GB GDDR5 - 192-bit - 1594 MHz for the same price if not couple bucks cheaper.

Still go with the 580, it's a little bit faster and FreeSync monitors are very cheap indeed

I do have a Samung 27" curved C27F591F with and free sync. So I guess I will stick with the 580.

Good idea. Otherwise, I'd drop the nVME SSD and get a 500GB 860 Evo.  Board wise, I'd look at AsRock's offerings

Lol that's like the 3rd time I heard about the nvme. I would think the nvme would have slightly faster speeds then a ssd?

Yes but you won't notice it. I have both in my PC and load times of games, etc are too close to tell apart between the nVME I used for boot and the SATA SSDs I use as mass storage

Ok sounds good. As far as CPU cooler I will be using the oem one. Fine right?

The OEM board will likely have nonstandard mounting holes so probably not. Even if it did the cooling is very bad, I'd get an ARCTIC Freezer 33 eSports ONE for $30 to keep your CPU nice and cool (and look good doing it too)

Just googled that fan. Looks nice. New cooler it is.  Asus Z-270A looked dope until I saw the price.
