All joking aside, not to burst your bubble but K|NGP|N probably doesn't particularly care for Superposition - you can see that since there are 22 other guys with better score than him in that benchmark and he does have a Titan V. He is a Firestrike guy. He probably ran that benchmark for the lolz so his PC had something to do while he went to the toilet xD

Just wanting to say that even an air cooled 2080 performs better than an LN2 1080 Ti :D
Last time i heard people say 2080 = 1080 Ti.

well if me lived in a benchmark that would matter. Would still take a 1080ti over a 2080. I’m not always in a rush to waste cash, especially for a score. 

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz 

 

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

My 2011 MBA with i5 is still holding up fine and isn’t particulary slow. In fact I’m actually pretty shocked at how well it does. Macs are awesome as long as you don’t care about upgrading components, and the fact that they are pretty pricey.

No, you did not. He got that score using a 1080 Ti, where as you used a 2080. In order to compare scores in a fair and even manner, you'd have to be using the exact model of card he was using, manufactured from the same lot of silicone and assembled / QA'd by the same person from start to finish, on the exact same platform (CPU, RAM, motherboard, PSU, case, fans, etc.)

Doesn't surprise me, somehow Superposition don't really like Pascal. Even my mild OC 980 Ti can touch GTX 1080.

Apologies; you're right, I made a typo there. Edited my post to reflect this. But it's still not beating Kingpin's results since a 2080 is not the same card.
