remove one of these (depending on the length of the stick) and plug it into the connector

and then replace what you took off (its a heatsink essentially)

the manual should have instructions ,

NVME OR SATA

1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe 3.0 x4/x2 SSD support) (M2A_SOCKET)

SATA
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 PCIe 3.0 x2 SSD support)(M2B_SOCKET)

just screw it in

Did you initialize and format it in (I am assuming) Windows?

"The M2B_SOCKET connector supports up to PCIe x2 SSDs."

Not sure if you have an NVMe or SATA SSD, but the bottom slot is bandwidth limited.

Have you tried the top one?

it does not appear so you should check in bios and unplug all other drives

@Deathguage567 have you tried that? No point in fiddling around in Windows if your drive doesn't appear in BIOS/EFI
