Core G 4900 backed with GTX 1050ti 4GB for gaming?

Will a Core G 4900 2 core 2 thread @ 3.1Ghz with 8Gb RAM and a GTX 1050ti 4gb suffice for entry level gaming / recording? If so, what games will I probably be able to run at Medium settings 1080p

My plan is to buy a used optiplex (probably something close to a core i3), slam (not really slam) a used GPU, add 4gb ram more, and upgrade the cpu later
