How to use GT 1030 and UHD 630 at the same time

Well you could assign certain tasks using the NVIDEA configuration panel.  I'd recommend going through that assigning program's to the card you like. Most of the time in these hybrid options Windows decides based on the performance requests and the way the power is configured.

If it is no hybrid system, chances of you getting these cars to work in tandem are close to zero since the UHD GPU will not be attached to a monitor and therefor cannot be utilized as far as I know (not really certain about this, I just simply have never seen a system acting like that).

Even when you search for it?

You could simply just try to install it again using the NVIDIA website. Link

I am almost 100% sure you can't configure these assignments with the Intel driver tools.

Some bioses disable the iGPU by default so try to enter your BIOS plugged into your 1030 and then enable iGPU and then you should be able to use the iGPU for it.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

HDMI port now plugged to 1030. When using UHD 630, no output is on the monitor.image.thumb.png.335ef76e761b395ec06bfb6a4f8e5de9.png

Currently all executables are using GT1030. I want only specific applications to use it

Enable it through Bios.

What benefit is there to using the iGPU?

Note: The HDMI now plugs to the mobo

EDIT: LOL I can't open Nvidia Control Panel now. Plan failed

Plug the hdmi into the gpu. That way you can choose in nvidia control panel which gpu should be used for which tasks. It is done on laptops to save power, but on desktop it is pointless.

By using a very inferior gpu for certain tasks? It would be logical to just use the high powered gpu for everything.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Maybe u are right

Side note , In NVidia Panel I see no options for select graphics processors. Anynone knows why?

Then only use the 1030. It's not exactly high end, but it's always better than the iGPU.

Then maybe it only is made for laptops which need to use a low power gpu to save power, but nvidia found that it wasnt necesarry for desktop users.

I have only seen that setting on laptops, but i thought maybe desktop would have it too...

I would just disable the igpu, as it uses your system memory, while real gpus have vram, so it could potentially only make your computer slower, i dont see any benefit to using a slower gpu for some apps instead of a faster gpu.

Actually, if OP was interested in 4K Netflix for whatever reason, he/she would be forced to use the UHD 630 since the 1030 doesn't support 4K Netflix.

Well it is an artificial limitation, but ok it counts.
