I've been looking for a waterblock for my GTX 980 and have found a un-used one from Bykski, heard the quality is good, but posts seem to be abit confusing on if they reccomend them or not. What are your opinions on Bykski? Good quality or avoid at all costs?

Before somebody says it, no I dont want to run a universal block from the likes of EK (Or any other manufacturer, don't have anything against EK or anything)

They're big in Asia similar with companies like barrow, but like most things support may be a bit lacking if you run into issues.

Reference card, its funny, I bought it because I thought at the time "I bet it will be really easy to get a waterblock for this"

Just search ebay for a 980 reference block. I bought a 980ti waterblock from ebay not long ago for around 20-ish quid it is fine. It might need some cleaning. As for thermal pads - ekwb support is great

See I would buy that block, but I hate the look of exposed copper, the Bykski block is Nickel plated, which fits with the theme of the build. But thank you anyway for the recommendation, if it doesnt sell the first time then I might put in a offer

Only bad thing i can say is the install on a gpu can be a headache. The install instructions are either next to nothing to nothing. So your kinda left on your own to figure out what and where the thermo pads go on it.There is a used ek block on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/EK-FC980GTX-Classy-Full-coverage-Water-blocks-NikelPlexi/232787835126?hash=item36333c78f6:g:reUAAOSwfVhZ~u4z

Or a swiftech block https://www.ebay.com/itm/Swiftech-KOMODO-NV-GTX9-Nvidia-GeForce-GTX-980-Full-Cover-Water-Block/251810317674?hash=item3aa110856a:g:sYgAAOSwabhUUwMG

Or email bitspower see if they have any left in stock maybe
