Event ID 154 - The IO operation at logical block address for Disk 0 failed due to hardware error

Hi, I'm getting a number of error level events per hour within my event log that are event ID tagged 154 with the message, "The IO operation at logical block address ... for Disk 0 (PDO name: \device\0000003b) failed due to hardware error".  Is this a sign of pending doom for my SSD (a Sandisk 120Gb mSATA)?

 

Reading other post on here and other forums i've gone through some checks using CrystalDiskInfo, Window's own Error Check and chkdsk all of which report no problems.  So wondering if I'm reading into this error message incorrectly.
