What case fans do you guys recommend

Case : Fractal design define mini c

What i want:

1: performance

2: silence

3: value

Also i do like noctuas color scheme :P

i currently own nf-p12 redux which i am using on my hyper 212x but since im switch to an nh-u12s..i was hoping to put it to good use.

I may be wrong.

It's like the fire triangle; you rarely get all three!

Without naming brands, personally I'd go with larger diameter fans, if your case supports it. I had a pair of 200mm in the top of my last case, on a manual fan controller. Inaudible at idle, and even when ramped up didn't make much noise.

There's no point swapping to a NH-U12S for the 8400. Excessively lower temps don't make any functional difference and it won't make it any quieter. You won't lower noise without removing the components that are too noisy from your system. If you want your system to be quieter, don't use the stock 212x fan and lowering fan rpm.

If you want better then don't pay Noctua hype tax.

Scythe Mugen 5 is both cheaper and higher performing than NH-U12S.

(whose bundled marketing hype fun is mediocre acoustically)

What cpu are you upgrading to? The NH-U12S isn't a big upgrade over the 212x and you should probably get something better.

Getting better case fans won't make much of an improvement for cooling when temps are already good.

I use the silverstone AP123, as seen in my profile picture.

I have 5 of them in my computer now. Plan on getting another for my 212 evo
